Can the service be further tailored to my needs?
The UK Industrial Service is much more than an 'off-the-shelf' service. We invite our subscribers to contribute to forecast assumptions and the priorities for enhancements to the modelling and the service. We are available to make presentations at subscribers' offices on issues of specific interest to them, and we encourage telephone and email contact for ad hoc enquiries.
We can also prepare forecasts according to your own specific assumptions, and you can commission your own scenarios against individual quotations. Working in close collaboration, we will listen to your requirements and produce a separate, independent forecast that addresses your own questions.
We will also prepare separate models constructed to suit your requirements (see Modelling for Business). These typically involve linking specialist indicators of interest to you (including, for example, your own sales) to indicators that we forecast as part of the UK Industrial Service. Usually this represents an improvement on simply basing a forecast on a broad macro indicator such as GDP growth.
You may not have an in-house analyst who can invest the time to draw out the lessons for your company from our forecasts. We can provide additional support to maximise your company's benefit from the service, providing, for example, a customised report or in-house briefings.
